Four times a year, Clan Carmichael USA publishes its award-winning newsletter to its members under the masthead pictured above. The photo shows the main entrance leading to the Carmichael Estate in Carmichael, Scotland from the A73 highway near Lanark. The rhododendron-lined lane proceeds up to the Carmichael Mansion ruins and to the Chief’s residence in West Mains. The eagles perched atop the posts were installed by the third Earl of Hyndford in 1750; click the Carmichael Estate link on the left to read about their significance.
