Welcome to the official web site of Clan Carmichael USA. Clan Carmichael had its roots in the Lowlands of Scotland some 800 years ago and, although one of the smaller clans, it has one of the most interesting and distinguished histories of any clan in Scotland. Clan Carmichael USA was established in 1991 as a social, educational, and charitable organization, working with our Chief, Richard Carmichael of Carmichael, to preserve and promote this illustrious heritage in the USA. Use the links above to navigate the site and locate specific areas of interest, and we hope our site will be useful and informative.

Update
The Glasgow Highland Games Board of Directors is delighted that Chief Carmichael will be joining us June 1st through June 3rd, 2012. The 2012 Glasgow Highland Games promises to be a very special Games including the North American Team Scottish Athletic Championship featuring Canada vs. USA, massed bands, spectacular Ceilidh and Tartan Ball. Many of you know that the Glasgow Highland Games is one of only two Games that still have the traditional Tartan Ball. We give the Clan Chiefs and their clan members the opportunity to make this a very special evening by providing up to three tables as requested for the Chief and his clan members, a bottle of Kentucky Bourbon for the Chiefs table, award winning photographs plus a great band and delicious food provided by the Kentucky Parks premier chef, who also does the Governor’s Kentucky Derby Breakfast held the first Saturday in May.
In order for us to plan early, you are invited to make early reservations. One can either be a Gold Patron for $300.00 and receive tickets to all Games activities, including the Sponsor’s Reception held Saturday evening or purchase individual tickets for $45.00 per couple or $25.00 for individuals. Write, email or call the Glasgow Highland Games office at: -119 East Main Street, Glasgow, KY 42141; ghg@glasgow-ky.com; (270) 651-3141.
