Welcome to the official web site of Clan Carmichael USA. Clan Carmichael had its roots in the Lowlands of Scotland some 800 years ago and, although one of the smaller clans, it has one of the most interesting and distinguished histories of any clan in Scotland. Clan Carmichael USA was established in 1991 as a social, educational, and  charitable organization, working with our Chief, Richard Carmichael of Carmichael, to preserve and promote this illustrious heritage in the USA. Use the links at the left side to navigate the site and locate specific areas of interest, and we hope our site will be useful and informative. News  * A letter is mailed to each member in early January reminding them that membership renewals are due by January 31. Members who have not renewed by February 1 lapse into inactive status and their newsletter subscription and access to the "Members Only" web site is suspended until their membership dues payment is received.
